A group of Pennrose Philadelphia employees recently participated in the Helping Hands volunteer event to support patients at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Team members worked alongside others from the local community to assemble care packages for children receiving treatment.

Kite Route Crossing received approval from the Superior Town Council, moving the Colorado town one step closer to its first affordable housing development. The milestone project plans to deliver 50 affordable apartment homes for residents 55 and older in downtown Superior, addressing an important housing need while celebrating the community’s history through its name and design, which pays tribute to Superior's early 1900s “Kite Route” trolley line. Thank you to the Town of Superior, Boulder County Housing Authority, Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, and SAR+ Architects who have provided instrumental support in this process. We celebrated two milestones at our first development in Arizona! Garfield Terrace Phase I is open and we officially broke ground on Phase II. Once complete, the transformative initiative will bring 120 units of high-quality, affordable senior housing to downtown Phoenix. Residents will also have access to a community room, fitness center, and a courtyard, along with social, health, and educational programming from Greater Phoenix Urban League and Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS). The redevelopment would not be possible without the support of partners like Butler Housing Company, CBC Financial Corp, City of Phoenix, and the Arizona Department of Housing.
