𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱: • GTs drove 55% of unplanned outages across 800k hours of downtime (2021–2023) • Electrical systems contributed 40% of downtime, making them the top subcategory concern • HRSGs behind upgraded GTs are seeing more damage post-upgrade • Roundtables addressed immediate vs. long-term recovery strategies, including steam leaks, bypass modes, and adjusted ops under stress • FBI input on terrorism risk, and a dive into EPA Rule 111’s shifting implications • A welcome push for new attendees with targeted training and tutorials • Bill Lovejoy (NAES) received the Individual Achievement Award and reminded all attendees why lifelong learning remains essential in our fast-evolving industry. If you're not already booked for the 2025 edition in DC, now's the time. Few events deliver such high-value peer exchange and O&M insight.
