The Stay in the Game! Attendance Network - Keep Learning Every Day
About us
Launched in 2019 by the Cleveland Browns Foundation, Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and Harvard’s Proving Ground, the Stay in the Game! Attendance Network, managed by Battelle, works together to campaign, connect and convene with experts and supporters to dramatically improve attendance. Are you ready to get in the game? As of November 2024, Stay in the Game! represents 161 districts and over 494,000 students across the state of Ohio. For two consecutive years, districts within the Network have seen a reduction in absenteeism rates more than twice that of the state overall.

Congrats to one of our largest districts. Columbus City Schools - Ohio on the recognition!
It's a proud day for our district as we celebrate our high schools' recognition in the U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools Rankings! These rankings reflect the hard work, resilience, and leadership our scholars show every day. At Columbus City Schools - Ohio, we are CCSProud to say leaders are grown here in our classrooms, on our stages, on our fields, and within our community. Congratulations to our students, educators, and families for making this recognition possible! #LeadersGrownHere #OurCCS 🍎

The Columbus Crew hosted the inaugural SITG! Meet and Greet where we invited educators from the Crew All-Star Districts for a day of networking, connecting, and learning. Districts got to learn more about Crew and Network supports for their attendance initiatives. Bread Financial raffled $500 Amazon Gift Cards to "Clear the List" of school supplies for educators. The day ended with an exclusive tour of lower. com Field! #StayintheGame! #AttendanceMatters #ColumbusCrew #OhioEducation #BacktoSchool

Stay in the Game! Attendance Network reposted this
Fun day at the "office" today, as our partner Columbus Crew hosted their Stay in the Game! Attendance All-Star districts for a back-to-school incentive pickup event! Over 60 school leaders and educators from the 31 districts the Crew partners with, came to Lower.com Field to pick up their Crew branded incentive items for the year, network with other leaders, and hear from the Stay in the Game! team and Crew partners. Thanks to Alexia Ramos and Stephanie Cedeño for hosting an amazing event. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with districts before the school year begins and share the impressive growth that the Network has seen in Central Ohio. There's a lot of work to do as we dive into the 2025-26 school year, and I can't wait to get started! #StayintheGame #AttendanceMatters #Communications #MLS #Education #BackToSchool #Events #OhioEducation Stay in the Game! We are thrilled to announce the newest member of the Stay in the Game! Team - Kathleen Vaughan, Implementation Specialist. Kat will be working closely with both Gina Wilson on the team and the districts across the Network! Previously, Kat served as the Director of Student Life (K-5) at KIPP Columbus. In this role, she drove strategies to promote equitable learning environment for educationally and economically disenfranchised students. We are so grateful for the skills and experience she brings to the team and can't wait for you to meet her! Say hello in the comments and welcome Kat to Stay in the Game! #StayintheGame #AttendanceMatters #TeamBuilding #ChronicAbsenteeism #Education
