We’re proud to announce a $19 million investment to expand our facility in Mena, Arkansas, to support increased production, testing capabilities, and customer engagement.   This 61,000-square-foot expansion will support U.S. MOTORS increased production, testing capabilities, and customer engagement. The Mena facility has been a cornerstone of our operations since 1966, specializing in large vertical and horizontal motors under the U.S. MOTORS® brand. Nidec Automation Team in Motion: Hands-On with AGV Drives, Motors, and Navigation This week, our Sales, Marketing and Product Management team participated in a hands-on technical workshop focused on autonomous guided vehicle (AGV) systems—leveraging our ultra-low voltage drives and motors. The session covered key aspects of AGV development, including: • Prototype assembly • Sensor module integration • System diagnostics and platform calibration • Autonomous navigation testing By working directly with the hardware and software, our team gained a deeper understanding of how motion control, sensing, and embedded intelligence come together to enable autonomous mobility. Thanks to our engineering colleagues for facilitating this immersive experience.
