Spotlight on Nexus leadership! We’re grateful to Kim Fields, Chief Financial Officer, and Rachel Beasley, Vice President of Revenue Cycle, for representing Nexus Health Systems at the HFMA Texas Gulf Coast Chapter Summer Conference. Kim joined fellow CFOs to discuss Medicaid changes from the OBBBA, the rising cost of care, AI and emerging technologies, and the importance of culture and mentorship in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. Rachel shared the stage with leaders from Houston Methodist Physicians Organization and MD Anderson to explore payor negotiations, AI in revenue cycle, and key leadership takeaways for guiding teams through today’s dynamic healthcare landscape. At Nexus, we know conversations like these shape the future of healthcare finance — and we’re honored to have our leaders contributing their insights. #nexus #nexushealthsystems #healthcarefinance

Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) is a rare genetic condition that affects growth, metabolism, and development. Early detection can make a significant difference in care and outcomes. Signs of PWS in infants and young children may include: Low muscle tone (hypotonia) Poor feeding and slow weight gain in infancy Developmental delays Almond-shaped eyes and narrow forehead Increased appetite and rapid weight gain (in later childhood) In the Jump Start Program at Nexus Health Systems, we provide specialized care for PWS patients ages 7 up to 21, addressing their unique medical, behavioral, and nutritional needs. Our goal is to help each patient progress toward greater behavioral stability and physical health. Sachin H. Jain, MD, MBA kicked off the third-annual Changing Care Together Summit with a call for radical common sense — and the conversation didn't end with the Q&A.
