Cars and Coffee, but make it ⚡️electric⚡️ This morning I had a chance to represent Ford Motor Company at the Michigan Science Center's second annual EV Cars and Coffee event in Detroit. The 2025 #MustangMachE was joined by the #F150Lightning Switchgear, and I even got to present the vehicle on WDIV Local 4 News/ClickOnDetroit 's morning broadcast! This event was a great chance to chat with owners and people who are curious about #electricvehicles. I also got to check out the all-new Nissan Motor Corporation Leaf and the new Slate Auto truck in person. Thanks Marjace Miles and the rest of the Michigan Science Center board for putting this together! #ev #carsandcoffee #weareford #fordinfluencers #detroit

This week, Adrian and Beverly had the opportunity to meet with Andrea Harp, MPA, Chief of Staff & Director of Impact at the Michigan Science Center. Andrea shared valuable insights from her journey stepping into the Chief of Staff role, offering perspective and inspiration for our very own Chief of Staff (Beverly), as she begins her own path in this position at Forgotten Harvest. We look forward to continued collaboration that will help deepen our impact across Metro Detroit. 💚💚💚

We’re thrilled to celebrate Andrea Harp, MPA, our Chief of Staff and Director of Impact, on receiving the Professional Excellence Award as an alumna from Spring Arbor University Andrea’s leadership helps our team grow in purpose and impact every day, so we can continue inspiring curious minds to discover, explore, and appreciate STEM. Congratulations, Andrea!
I am grateful and deeply honored to share that I have been named the 2025 Professional Excellence Alumni Award recipient by Spring Arbor University. This recognition is especially meaningful given my journey. When I arrived at SAU as a transfer student, I was unsure of myself and uncertain about my path. After a difficult start at another university, I was searching for clarity and purpose. Spring Arbor became that turning point. The faculty and the values rooted in service, compassion, and calling helped me find direction, both personally and professionally. To be recognized in this way, years later, is incredibly humbling. I’m proud to carry the foundation SAU helped me build into every space I now serve. Thank you to Spring Arbor University for this meaningful honor, and congratulations to this year’s Alumni Award recipients. I look forward to celebrating you all this fall. https://lnkd.in/eTNHee3s

One of my favorite personal projects this year has been finding ways to share current, local research with our guests and inspire the next generation of scientists! A huge thank you to all of the incredible students like Blake from Wayne State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, who have been our real-life scientist friends to the guests of the Michigan Science Center this summer! 🔬🧪
This past weekend, we had the pleasure of sharing our research at the Michigan Science Center! The kids and their families loved performing sand filtration on "dirty" water while measuring the turbidity before and after filtration. Thank you to Carly Sahr for setting up this outreach event. I highly recommend other labs reach out to Carly if you're interested in performing hands on demonstrations of your research at the Michigan Science Center!
