Meditation Artifacts is a nonprofit organization advancing multicultural meditation education initiatives through research, public events, and accessible resources. We bring together teachers, scholars, and practitioners from diverse traditions to explore how contemplative practices can serve a changing world. Our work includes academic events, community workshops, support for educators, and the development of both virtual and in-person resources for accessible meditation education. We are committed to centering cultural roots and uplifting new voices in meditation education across disciplines and communities.

    Meditation Artifacts is offering an opportunity for a limited number of meditation teachers to join us in Patagonia from October 18 to November 15, 2025. The date is approaching quickly, so please share this in your circles soon. Spend a month sharing practices from your tradition in a semi-monastic setting, alongside artists, founders, and technologists at Edge City. We're seeking to include meditators from as many different traditions as we can, including both major religious and nonsectarian perspectives on meditation. We’re supporting a limited number of teachers and monastics with lodging and meals provided, plus up to $3,000 in a stipend to help cover travel costs. Building on the insights from our April salon, we’re convening a larger group of leaders and thinkers to explore a timely and complex question: What is the future of meditation? Join us for a full day of presentations, dialogue, and collaborative exploration. Be a part of our growing community and help us understand what it means for meditation to be nonsectarian, interdisciplinary, and multicultural in public and professional contexts.
