Helzberg Diamonds

Sadly my 2025 brand marketing internship at Helzberg has come to an end. I enjoyed every minute of getting to meet the team and be part of a company with a truly amazing culture. This summer I got to  -Assist the brand marketing team on a number of different projects including influencer collaboration. -Help the social media team with planning and executing projects. -Brainstorm and present ideas for store events with my fellow interns. -And so much more! I am so abundantly grateful for everyone who has helped me along the way. I want to give a special shoutout to my supervisor, Jana Hainey. I am so inspired by her and all she has accomplished. I am so honored to have gotten to be a part of the Helzberg Team!

As my summer internship comes to a close, I want to express my deepest gratitude to Helzberg Diamonds for an unforgettable 10 weeks. During my time as a Retail Innovation & Operations Intern, I had the opportunity to: - Create training videos, job-aids, and internal communications to support the rollout of a new merchandise ERP system, as well as custom clienteling tool - Lead data consolidation and reporting efforts using advanced analytics tools - Conduct UAT for enterprise conversational AI and website UX testing to improve digital experiences - Collaborate with store teams to gather insights and help develop strategies to increase sales in key locations - Present strategic sales growth initiatives to corporate strategy team and business leaders I’m excited to carry these skills forward into my junior year at the University of Arkansas, and my next chapter as a future business leader. A special thank you to Ryan Holm, I couldn’t have asked for a better leader throughout this journey. Your talent and grit within this field has been truly inspiring. I’m incredibly grateful for the time we got to work together and for everything I’ve learned from you this summer. Another thank you to Sarah DeVore (Lewis), Michelle Cummings, Megan Mikel, Todd Chandler, and the entire intern group for becoming the friends I made along the way. The culture at Helzberg really is like no other, and I’m blessed to have gotten to experience it each and every day this summer. This week, I had the honor of hosting a powerhouse group of Helzberg Diamonds store operations leaders from across the country at our Innovation Center in Kansas City.   We spent three days preparing them to lead and train their teams as we roll out one of the largest technology initiatives in our company’s history.   This project has been over two years in the making. At this stage, with launch imminent, the energy can start to feel a little weary, maybe even a little manic. Think college all-nighter meets way too much caffeine the next morning.   But this group completely reset the tone. They brought fresh energy, infectious positivity, and a can-do spirit that lifted the entire project!   Over the course of three days, we: ⛏ Dug into change management and leadership 🎓 Built detailed training plans 💻 Got hands-on with the new tech 🏢 Toured our Store Support Center 🤝 Connected with members of our executive leadership team 🌪 Sheltered together during a tornado warning 👀 ...we could have maybe skipped that last part...   And capped it off with an incredible evening at Chicken N Pickle, where many of us tried (and crushed) pickleball for the first time! 🐔🎾   To everyone who joined us: Please know how grateful I am for your time, your focus, and most of all your leadership as we bring this transformation to life.   A special thank you to Michelle Cummings, Todd Chandler, Jill Meyer, Jessica Dominguez Smith CFI, LPC, Shelly Albrecht CFI, LPC, Isaias Oliva and many of our Store Support Center attendees for helping facilitate and put material together for this event! 💎Today our team enjoyed an amazing kickoff with our new partner, the Iron District!🔥 Our associates savored a variety of cuisines from Mediterranean and Southeast Asian, to burgers, breakfast, sourdough, Mexican, and even indulged in some ice cream.
