Zant was my first job at the age of 18, making this my first and only job. I also enjoy nature and family time." Could you tell us a little bit about your career path and your current role at R.W. Zant? "I am a second-generation driver. Growing up, my father was always on the road. I now follow those same footsteps and will soon be 10 years on the road as a truck driver." What do you like most about the work that you do? "I enjoy being on the road, meeting new people in different locations. I enjoy the freedom driving gives me." What do you like most about working at R.W.Zant? "I like the friendly environment. I also like that there is room for growth within the company." What is an interesting fact or something unique about R.W. Zant? "A unique fact about R.W. Zant is that on the company’s anniversary, we are provided with personalized gifts that make us as employees feel recognized and valued." Meet Dennis Spencer, one of our drivers at Honor Foods Philadelphia. Check out this quick interview with Dennis: Tell us a little bit about yourself. "I enjoy watching the Philadelphia Eagles and going to live concerts." Could you tell us a little bit about your career path and current role at Honor Foods? "I was a part-time barber for almost 35 years. I have two sons, ages 25 & 22. I started driving trucks locally to spend more time with them when they were younger." What do you like most about the work that you do? "I like driving because I'm by myself in my truck, and I am not a fan of working inside. I have had multiple jobs, but I must say Honor Foods is a great company to work for." What do you like most about working at Honor Foods/R.W.Zant/Sunny Morning? "The work environment is positive and my coworkers are cool. Some jobs are the workers vs. management, and it is not like that here." What is an interesting fact or something unique about Honor Foods/R.W. Zant/Honor Foods? "At Honor Foods, everyone works together." Currently, I drive locally delivering to many customers. I give it my all." What do you like most about the work that you do? "Dealing with the customers and trying my best to make them happy." What do you like most about working at R.W.Zant? "Being appreciated by the company and the customers." What is an interesting fact or something unique about R.W. Zant? "R.W. Zant was acquired by Burris Logistics back in 2022, but despite the change in ownership, R.W. Zant has maintained its family values."
