Celebrating local agriculture & community partnerships! Yesterday our Katy Area Chamber team had the honor of joining our member, Texas Rice Milling Company – home of Honestly Texas Rice, at the Brookshire Drying Company for a truly momentous occasion. We witnessed an H-E-B 18-wheeler arrive to pick up a truckload of fresh, LOCAL rice, grown right here in Texas, that will soon be stocked in 167 H-E-B stores across the state! Honestly Texas Rice is more than just rice, it’s a brand rooted in family farms, Texas tradition, and sustainable practices. Their farmers take pride in growing rice that is wholesome, honest, and directly tied to the land we call home. Every bag tells the story of Texas agriculture and the hardworking families behind it.
