  • Meet Dr. Arthur Chou, MD, Staff Psychiatrist at Evolve! Dr. Chou finds the most rewarding and inspiring aspect of this job is watching teens get better. His approach is to be as direct and authentic as possible with our clients. In his words, "Watching a teen come in angry, rejecting treatment, and appearing truly hopeless about getting better—and then transform into someone who has hope, pursues new interests, and begins to address their issues—is incredibly exciting." He finds the team at Evolve to be great to work with, offering plenty of room for humor and mutual support when times get tough. Outside of work, he enjoys surfing (usually, it’s just swimming with a surfboard), snowboarding, barbecuing a good steak, wishing to improve at MMA, and expanding his vinyl collection. He loves spending time with family, while hoping not to leave them with psychological stigmata of having a father and husband who is a psychiatrist. We’re so grateful to have Dr. Chou on the Evolve team!
