  • At Overlake Christian Church (OCC), Tom Borman highlights how rescued produce from Eat Happy Now supports healthier meals and stronger community connections. 🌱 With fresh vegetables rescued through Eat Happy Now, Tom is preparing meals for as many as 25–30 people. “When people come to the day center, this might be the only meal they get during the day.” 💚 Partnerships like this ensure that good food doesn’t end up in landfills, but instead nourishes people who need it most. Beyond meals, OCC also offers a safe parking program — giving people the space to focus on what matters. Proud to see Eat Happy Now fueling impact where it’s needed most. #SocialImpact #EatHappyNow #FoodAccess #FoodRescue #CommunityImpact #Nonprofit

  • 🇺🇸✨ On this 9/11 Day of Service, Eat Happy Now was honored to stand with volunteers and organizations nationwide in a powerful act of remembrance and compassion. Here in Seattle, Eat Happy Now team helped pack 200,000 meals for families facing food insecurity—part of a nationwide effort across 25 cities that came together to pack an incredible 9 million meals in one day. 💚 We are deeply grateful to be part of this movement, turning a day of reflection into a day of unity, care, and action. • We’re proud to share a milestone: our first-ever food rescue at Bumbershoot Music Festival! Partnering with Seattle Public Utilities and Cascadia Consulting Group, we worked directly with festival vendors to capture surplus food before it went to waste. 💚 The result? 275+ nourishing meals delivered to Wheel Women’s Shelter and The More We Love. This initiative demonstrated the power of public-private partnerships to turn potential waste into meaningful impact. 👏 A huge thank you to our partners and volunteers who made it possible. 👉 Let’s keep proving what’s possible when communities collaborate. Connect with us to explore partnerships or support. #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #FoodRecovery #EatHappyNow #Seattle #CommunityImpact #Collaboration

  • 🌍 Parent Volunteer Spotlight 🌍 When his son registered as a student volunteer for food recovery, this father simply came along to drive him. However, after observing the tangible impact of food recovery efforts, he chose to actively participate himself. Today, both father and son work alongside recovering food and reducing waste. Their shared commitment illustrates how engagement at the family level can strengthen community efforts and amplify impact In his own words, he encourages other parents: Support your teens in joining the movement against hunger. Their involvement matters. At Eat Happy Now, we believe impact multiplies when families engage together. 💚 👉 Parents, join the movement. Encourage your teens, volunteer together, and be part of ending hunger and reducing food waste. #FoodRecovery #EndHunger #YouthLeadership #EatHappyNow

  • 🌍✨ New Look, Same Mission, Bigger Dreams✨🌍 We’re excited to unveil Eat Happy Now’s new logo! This change isn’t just about design—it’s about telling our story more clearly and powerfully. Our new logo highlights circularity—a symbol of food rescued, redistributed, and transformed into nourishment instead of waste. It reflects the core of our mission: connecting surplus food to people, not landfills. Why now? Because Eat Happy Now is growing and evolving, and our brand needs to reflect that journey. This new logo captures not only our mission of rescuing and redistributing food, but also the broader impact of our work. Every pound of food we save prevents harmful carbon emissions, making food recovery both a hunger solution and a climate solution. By embracing the universal symbol of circularity, we highlight our role in building a more sustainable, resilient future. Same mission. Stronger story. Bigger impact. Welcome to the new face of Eat Happy Now. #EatHappyNow #FoodRescue #ZeroWaste #CircularEconomy #ClimateAction #HungerRelief
