At our Plastics Center of Excellence, plant leader Brian Schwarz runs one of the largest injection molding facilities in Kentucky. Operating around the clock across three shifts, this site produces thousands of critical components for the appliances we build. Serving four of our U.S. plants, Brian’s team is focused on precision, quality, and doing it in-house—with 90% of resins sourced from American suppliers. For Brian, this is more than a job. GE Appliances, a Haier company, announced a bold plan to invest more than $3 billion over the next five years in its U.S. operations, workforce and communities. The first phase of investments will begin at GE Appliances plants in Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.
