GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE | STRATEGY I POLICY Navigates complexity within government and the political landscape to advance strategic solutions

It was a great honor to be invited by AIPAC this past weekend to join a distinguished panel of old and new friends Jose Felix Diaz Jaime A. Molera and Scott Schweitzer on the future of the conservative movement. I always appreciate learning from others and being able share in our common values while representing Becker & Poliakoff, P.A. at this forum.

This past weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to attend AIPAC's 2025 Fall Political Student Leadership Summit. Over the course of the summit, I heard from top foreign policy analysts about the U.S.–Israel relationship and the challenges facing Israel’s security and regional stability. I also had the privilege to lobby on Capitol Hill, meeting with the offices of my own District 8 representative, Rep. Rob Menendez, as well as Rep. Josh Gottheimer, and Democratic Whip Katherine Clark, to discuss the importance of a strong U.S.–Israel partnership. I want to thank the incredible Leadership Development team for putting on such an amazing event. This event reminded me of the significance of the US-Israel alliance and the need for our unwavering support. I am very grateful for this opportunity to learn and engage with community leaders and top professionals in the field.

From September 14-16th, I attended the AIPAC Student Leadership Summit. The Summit included hearing from various experts on the Middle East and concluded with a day of lobbying on the Hill. I lobbied Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz(D-FL 25), Rep. Darren Soto(D-FL 9), and Rep. Byron Donalds(R-FL 19). The legislative agenda included thanking them all for cosponsoring the Enhanced Iran Sanctions Act (H.R. 1422), which strengthens efforts to hold Iran accountable, and the U.S.-Israel Defense Partnership Act (H.R. 1229), which seeks to expand and deepen our nations’ defense relationship. It was an absolute pleasure to attend the Summit and continue to grow my knowledge on the relationship between the U.S. and Israel along with the nuances of the Middle East. Thank you Karli Krasnipol, Daniella Aloni, Elizabeth Krantz, DSL(c), and Max Lagoy for planning and executing an amazing Summit.

Israel has accepted the U.S.-backed peace plan that would end the conflict in Gaza, disarm Hamas and free the hostages. Hamas is choosing to prolong the suffering of Israelis and Palestinians alike every moment it refuses to take the deal. 🔴 ACT NOW! Urge your members of Congress to speak out and increase the pressure on Hamas to accept the deal and release the hostages: https://aip.ac/ceasefire

We welcome the announcement today of a plan to end the conflict in Gaza, disarm Hamas, and free the hostages. We appreciate the determined efforts of President Donald Trump and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to help negotiate this plan together with Israel. This peace plan has the wide support of the United States, Israel and several Arab countries. Now the onus is on Hamas to agree to the plan, disarm, and free the hostages who have been brutally held captive in violation of law and basic morality. If Hamas agrees to the implementation of this plan, aid will further surge to Gazan civilians to help ameliorate the humanitarian situation. This plan is a direct byproduct of the tremendous progress of Israel’s military operation in Gaza to degrade Hamas’ capabilities. Congressional support for our democratic ally has been instrumental throughout this war, including by passing the largest military aid package in Israel’s history, and we applaud the Democrats and Republicans who have been consistent and unequivocal in their demands for Hamas to free the hostages and give up power in Gaza. Hamas started this war on October 7 with one of the most barbaric assaults imaginable. Since then, the Iranian-backed terror group has proceeded to use Palestinians in Gaza as human shields for its maniacal war against the Jewish state, bringing terrible death, destruction and humanitarian crises to Gaza. American and world leaders must now pressure Hamas to agree to the peace plan and adhere to its terms and implementation.

I was also honored to receive the “Champion: Protecting America’s Warfighters” Award from the American Biodefense Action Coalition, and capped off the week at Pet Night on Capitol Hill! It was a busy and productive week for sure….!

International Relations (B.A) Student at Syracuse University | Maxwell School of Citizenship

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to attend another AIPAC Student Leadership Summit. Throughout the weekend, we learned about the current state of middle eastern politics and US-Israel relations through seminars from numerous policy experts in the field. Much has changed over the past few months so it was crucial to make sure we were fully up to date on the topics. Additionally, this was the first conference I attended as the Co-President of OrangePAC, the Syracuse University AIPAC-club affiliate. At the end of the conference, we took what we had learned to capitol hill. I had the honor to meet again with the offices of Representatives Suozzi (NY-03) and Gillen (NY-04). Although AIPAC has always had a bipartisan approach, this conference it was emphasized. With the recent unacceptable events of political violence, we were reminded just how important it is to have constructive dialogue with people we may disagree with. This country was founded upon free speech and we cannot allow hate to divide us even more. I’d like to thank Elizabeth Krantz, DSL(c) Karli Krasnipol and Daniella Aloni for their amazing work in putting together such an incredible weekend.
