About us
A leading provider of robotic equipment, ACR is transforming the construction industry by filling the skilled labor gap and increasing overall productivity. Our robots give construction firms the ability to consistently meet growing demand, reduce scheduling risks and improve safety. TyBOT®, ACR’s first product, is a rebar tying robot that self-navigates, self-ties, and does not require programming or BIM plan input from the working crew. TyBOT’s partner, IronBOT, will lift, carry, and install rebar when it comes to market in 2022. If you would like more information, please contact us at info@constructionrobots.com

Honored to be part of the conversation at AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials), where our Founder & CEO, Stephen Muck, shared how innovation is shaping the future of construction. #AASHTO #ConstructionCommittee #InnovatingConstruction
General Counsel; Managing Director, Contractors and P3 Divisions at American Road & Transportation Builders Assoc.
It was an honor to be on the program at the annual meeting of the AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) Construction Committee in West Palm Beach. In support of the committee’s new mental health initiative, I briefed the attendees on related resources available to American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) members. During other sessions, our industry was ably represented on stage by Felipe Jaramillo of Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC, Jack Calandros of Prince Contracting, LLC, Andres G. Mendoza, P.E. of MasTec Civil, LLC, a MasTec Company and Stephen Muck of Advanced Construction Robotics, among others. Shoutouts to Dr. Vince Hafeli, BRANDON ANDERSON and Bradley Sant, JD, CSP, ASP, who contributed to my presentation (whether they knew it or not). Thank you to Director Ron Henke, Tisha Clark, Ramon Hopkins, Sam Lompa, P.E., C.P.M., Christopher Goins, P.E., Christina Bennett, Tim Lattner, P.E., Jason Blankenship, PE, Phil Murdoff, Shawn Smith, Jim DeSanto, Edwin Okonkwo, Casey Soneira, Meghan Wozniak, David Donoho, Evan Rothblatt, EIT and many others who made it a worthwhile week...

The Idaho Transportation Department’s U.S. 12 Clearwater Memorial Bridge rehabilitation has been recognized as a regional winner in the 2025 America’s Transportation Awards, earning Best Use of Technology and Innovation among medium projects in the WASHTO region. Originally built in 1951, the $40 million rehabilitation eliminated load restrictions and delivered: ‣ Wider shoulders, sidewalks, and a painted median to improve multimodal mobility ‣ Safety upgrades for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists ‣ Innovative use of robotics to accelerate construction and reduce risk for workers 💬 George Elliott, Project Manager, Idaho Transportation Department: “Tying rebar is back-breaking work. The TyBOT production is roughly equivalent to what can be completed in the same time by two experienced manual laborers.” The project team, including prime contractor Wadsworth Brothers Construction and subcontractor Nucor Rebar Fabrication, deployed the TyBOT robotic system from Advanced Construction Robotics to autonomously tie horizontal rebar intersections—enhancing safety and efficiency. The Clearwater Memorial Bridge project now advances as a contender for the Top 12 national awards, with winners announced at the AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) Annual Meeting in November 2025. 🔗 Learn more about this award-winning project: [https://lnkd.in/gN6su2Rx] #TransportationAwards #InfrastructureInnovation #BridgeRehabilitation #IdahoDOT #ConstructionTechnology

We help build infrastructure, but we also work to build communities. 🏗️ From September 8–12, we recognize Construction Suicide Prevention Week to raise awareness about the mental health crisis in construction and encourage support for those around us. By checking in with colleagues, family, and friends, and reaching out when you or someone else needs help, we can lay the foundation for a safer, healthier future. Together, we can build stronger and lift each other up. 🧱💙 Find resources at https://lnkd.in/ei6GKtdy #CSPW2025 #MentalHealth #SuicidePrevention #BuildCommunity

"To accelerate work, they deployed TyBOT, a robotic rebar-tying machine that completed 58,215 ties across 25,154 square feet — averaging more than 1,100 ties per hour. Project Engineer Brett Kauffman equated the robot’s output to the work of four people."
