This Hispanic Heritage Month, we proudly celebrate the culture, traditions, and accomplishments of Hispanic and Latin American communities. From September 15 to October 15, we honor the resilience, family values, and pride that continue to build generations. This year’s theme, Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future, invites us to reflect on and remember those who came before us, while spotlighting the voices and experiences shaping tomorrow. As Jenny Castro, HR Program Manager and Chairperson of Achieve’s Unidos ERG, shares: “Hispanic Heritage means honoring the strength of our ancestors, celebrating the richness of our cultures, and embracing the values that have shaped who we are—family, resilience, tradition, and pride.” Together, let’s recognize the history, contributions, and vibrant spirit that inspire the future. #weareachieve

🚨 Nearly 1 in 3 kids (31%) have made an online purchase without permission. On average, these unapproved splurges cost families about $170. But for some, the price tag was much higher 👀 Almost 1 in 5 parents (19%) reported their child’s shopping spree topped $300. Kids are buying everything from video games and fashion pieces to big-ticket items like computers, smartphones, and even cryptocurrency. With kids spending more online, this raises an important question: Are families equipped to help the next generation build smart money habits? According to a new study by Achieve and Talker Research, many parents admit they struggle to monitor spending or teach financial awareness. In fact, 61% say that they wish a financial expert could step in to teach healthy spending habits. “We can’t expect children to understand money on their own. Families, schools and experts all have a role to play in building the next generation’s financial skills,” Bradford Stroh said. “The best way forward is for parents and mentors to stay engaged, set boundaries, and use every unexpected charge as a chance to build lifelong money skills.” 🔗 Click the link for the full study. https://bit.ly/3Ik89hS #welcometoachieve
