  • Infection prevention doesn’t pause for the holidays, so neither do we. Increased virus transmission and germ-friendly surfaces created by winter weather make strong EVS protocols essential this season. We scientifically engineer our EVS program to reduce healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), ensure hand hygiene compliance, and increase patient safety and satisfaction. Our collaborative approach brings all hospital departments together, working as one team in our infection prevention efforts. #OneHHS

At HHS and Transformed Culinary Solutions (TCS), food is never just food. It’s connection. It’s craft. It’s care. The Texas BBQ Blowout has been the perfect backdrop to experience all three – surrounded by talented pitmasters, passionate food lovers, and a community that believes food should tell a story. From slow-smoked brisket to elevated hospital meals, our chefs bring the same intention to every plate they serve. We’re grateful to be part of this year’s event and to cheer on the incredible teams competing. #OneHHS #CNS

  • Hospitality doesn’t stop at the hospital doors. It shows up in how we lead, how we serve, and how we celebrate what we do. This weekend, HHS is proud to be at the Texas BBQ Blowout in Paris, TX, alongside our partners at Transformed Culinary Solutions (TCS). Chef David Highlender, our VP of Culinary, and TCS President Chef Darin Leonardson are representing our shared commitment to food that brings people together as judges for a weekend full of creativity, flavor, and community. Whether it’s brisket on the pit or meals at the bedside, the goal stays the same: make it meaningful. If you’re at the Blowout, come say hello in Paris, TX! We’ll be sharing highlights from the weekend right here. #OneHHS #BeyondThePlate

  • When our chefs show up outside the hospital, they bring the same standard of hospitality right back inside. While Chef David Highlender is serving as a judge at the Texas BBQ Blowout alongside our partners at Transformed Culinary Solutions (TCS), he also stopped by Paris Regional Medical Center, where Chef Jeffrey Crosier and team were showcasing our Barbecue Belt concept. What stands out in moments like this isn’t just the barbecue. It’s the craft behind it. The talent to execute bold regional food well, and the pride to deliver that level of experience for patients, guests, and staff day in and day out. That’s the HHS Culinary culture on full display. Excited for more highlights this weekend from Chef David at the Texas BBQ Blowout, and hats off to Chef Jeff and the Paris Regional team for raising the bar every day. #HospitalFoodReimagined #WhereChefsWantToBe #TexasBBQ #OneHHS

I’m in Paris, Texas, today serving as a judge for a state-sanctioned Texas Barbecue Competition; it's an honor to be here and one of the best parts of what I get to do. While in town, I stopped by Paris Regional Medical Center, and not to be outdone by the competition, Chef Jeffrey Crosier was showcasing our Barbecue Belt concept in full force. From slow-smoked pulled pork to carved prime rib and all the incredible sides that make real Texas BBQ what it is, Chef Jeff and the team knocked it out of the park. Moments like these remind me how talented our culinary teams are and how committed they are to creating memorable, high-quality food experiences for the communities we serve. Proud of the work we’re doing at HHS, LLC, and proud to taste a little barbecue along the way! #HospitalFoodReimagined #WhereChefsWantToBe #TexasBBQ #OneHHS

  • What drives HHS’ environmental services success? Our people. Accountability and autonomy set the stage for sustainable performance. When EVS team members have the freedom to work creatively and take ownership of their workload, they bring more initiative and pride to the job. Clear accountability ensures our leaders own their actions, their wins, and their misses – and learn from all three. That combination of freedom and ownership empowers our teams to grow their careers while driving long-term results for the hospitals and health systems we serve. #OneHHS #HHSDifference
