A milestone day in Flint! Yesterday, our team joined Flint Community Schools, the Mott Foundation, the Flint Center for Educational Excellence, the Brownell Holmes Neighborhood Association, and Governor Gretchen Whitmer to celebrate the ribbon cutting of The Cube @ Brownell-Holmes. As the district’s first new school building in more than 50 years, this innovative facility will drive STEM learning and prepare students for the future. Yesterday, we proudly joined the City of Grand Rapids and Williams Architects to break ground on the new Grand Rapids Fire Department Training Facility. This state-of-the-art complex represents a shared commitment to community safety and first responder readiness. Once complete, the facility will provide advanced, scenario-based training environments that elevate firefighter preparedness and strengthen public safety outcomes for the region. We were honored to celebrate this milestone alongside city leadership, state officials, and members of the Grand Rapids Fire Department.
