Today at Splunk’s .conf in Boston, we shared announcements and innovation that I believe mark an undeniable shift in how organizations think about, use, and protect their data in the Agentic era.
First, we introduced Cisco Data Fabric. This architecture, built on top of the Splunk platform, is designed to dramatically reduce the cost and complexity of handling machine data at scale and leveraging it for AI applications.
We made additional platform announcements including AI-powered field extraction and automatic data structuring, and the introduction of more AI-native capabilities like AI Canvas and Cisco AI Assistants directly in the platform. We also announced a new Federated Search integration with Snowflake, giving organizations the ability to search and combine operational and business data across platforms — reinforcing Cisco's commitment to an open data ecosystem.
We also announced updates to our security portfolio to simplify workflows, make threat detection faster, and accelerate response with AI agents. This includes a new AI Assistant in Enterprise Security, Malware Reversing Agent, and AI-enhanced detection libraries. We expanded visibility through integrations with Cisco Isovalent, and federated firewall data strengthens defense even more. Finally, we announced a new unified threat detection, investigation and response experience by combining several solutions within our Splunk Enterprise Security Portfolio.
Observability also took a huge step forward with agentic AI-powered unified observability, allowing organizations to see the impact of performance issues across complex applications in one solution. We announced a unified observability experience, an AI-powered troubleshooting agent, and infrastructure monitoring capabilities.
Thank you to everyone who made this event possible—our incredible engineers, marketing & communications teams, partners, and especially Kamal Hathi, whose leadership continues to inspire us here at Cisco. The innovation on display this week demonstrates that Cisco and Splunk really are Better Together! So excited for all that’s to come, congrats again to the team!
