ArtBridge Projects and CAMBA Housing Ventures, Inc. unveil 700-foot-long public art exhibition at Clarkson Estates, CHV’s Passive House affordable and supportive housing development in Flatbush, Brooklyn. The exhibition features four local artists — Tatiana Arocha, Darla Ebanks, Mary Mattingly, and Avani Patel — and is part of the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs’ City Canvas program that turns construction sites into art exhibitions. CHV celebrated a significant milestone at Clarkson Estates in Flatbush, Brooklyn as it officially reached its highest point yesterday. The final roof plank was hoisted into place atop the nine-story building by the dedicated team at Bruno Frustaci Contracting, Inc. The $238 million workforce, supportive, and #PassiveHouse development — part of the State’s #VitalBrooklyn initiative — will provide 328 permanently affordable and supportive homes and feature more than 30,000 square feet of community facility space and CAMBA's onsite supportive services. The construction, development and design teams, including CetraRuddy Architecture and Starr Whitehouse Landscape Architects and Planners gathered at the site to acknowledge all the hard work and collective commitment it took to reach this point.
