Meet David Zweig, a Product Manager here at Coursera! As a product manager, David serves as the connection point between all of the Courserians working toward a common goal: to improve the quality of content in our catalogue and offer more valuable learning experiences. “I see my role as navigating between people who have much more expertise than I have–whether that be learners and partners on their experience with our products, my designer on creating a great UX, or my engineering team on building something that will actually perform and scale,” he says. “I’m having to constantly check my assumptions and question things I thought I knew to be true as I work to drive our team forward in pursuit of a common vision. I’ve found that this happens best for me when I engage with work from a place of curiosity and let myself take interest in the puzzles I have to solve, rather than see them as problems needing fixing (not always easy!).”

Meet Jose, who's learning from Washington State 🇺🇸 "As a service member preparing to transition to civilian life, I knew I needed training that was flexible and aligned with real-world industry standards. Through the USO Transitions Program, I found Coursera and enrolled in the Google Project Management Certificate. "The self-paced format allowed me to learn when it worked best for me—at times when my body and mind were fully in sync and ready to absorb the material. It gave me the space to grow professionally while continuing to serve full-time. "Coursera opened up new learning opportunities that support my goals of staying competitive in today’s job market and investing in my future. "If you’re thinking about it, go for it.
