Starting in August 2025, vehicle ads will be available to all the vehicle advertisers in France and the Netherlands. The program will be expanded to more countries at a later date.
Vehicle ads are a performance-focused, omnichannel, lower-funnel format designed to help auto advertisers promote their full inventory to shoppers on Google. Upon clicking a vehicle ad, a shopper is seamlessly directed to the Vehicle Description Page (VDP) on your website, featuring key details such as image of the car, make, model, price, kilometers, and the advertiser name. The VDP empowers the shopper to engage in contacting the dealer, submitting a lead form, or other actions, before visiting the dealership.
France and the Netherlands vehicle advertisers can participate by uploading their vehicle feeds in the Merchant Center and running Performance Max campaigns in Google Ads to serve vehicle ads.
