To get a 12-month Google AI Pro student trial at no cost, follow the steps below:

1. On your device, go to Google One.
2. Verify your student status through SheerID.
3. Add a form of payment.
4. Complete the trial purchase flow.

Important: Google may request certain information for verification purposes. Google reserves the right to determine eligibility in its sole discretion.

To get a Google AI Pro student trial, you must be:

• At least 18 years old.
• A student and resident in the country or region where the Google AI Pro student trial is offered. Learn where the Google AI Pro student trial is available.
  • Eligible students in Brazil, Indonesia, Japan, US, or UK who previously redeemed the Google AI Pro student discount can continue to use their benefits. They’ll be prompted to verify their eligibility through SheerID to continue their trial and get 12 months of the student discount.
• Using a single personal Google Account for the student discount to apply.
• Enrolled at an eligible higher education institution where Google AI Pro student trials are offered.
  • The eligibility of the institution is verified through SheerID.
• Verified as a student by SheerID.
  • For help with the SheerID verification, send an email to [email protected] or you can go to SheerID help center.

• A Google Payments account owner with a qualified form of payment when requested.
• Subscribed to Google AI Pro through Google Play.

New and existing Google One members are eligible, except:

• Family group members.
  • Members of the family group can’t sign up and aren’t recommended to leave their shared plan.
  • To enroll in a new plan, the plan manager must cancel the current plan first.
• Members subscribed to a higher storage plan than the one being offered.
• Members subscribed through third-party partners, Pixel Pass, or Google Fi.

If you meet the eligibility requirements, you'll get a 12-month Google AI Pro membership at no cost.

1. On your device, open your browser.
2. Go to Google One.
3. Tap Verify student status.
4. To verify with SheerID, follow the on-screen instructions.
5. Review your details.
6. Tap Verify student status.
   • If the next screen says “You’ve been verified:” Move to step 7.
   • If the next screen says “Upload proof of enrollment:”
     1. Add the required documents.
     2. Tap Submit.
7. Tap Get Google AI Pro Get student offer.

Tip: If you choose to upload your document instead, then proof of enrollment is manually reviewed and can take up to 48 hours to verify. You’ll get an email once verification is successful. Please also check your spam folder.

After SheerID verifies your eligibility, you’re redirected to Google One.

1. Tap Get student offer.
2. To confirm your Google AI Pro membership, select or add a new payment method.
3. Click Subscribe.
