What am I trying to do?

I am trying to develop the OTA part of my application from Thingsboard.

What is the problem I am facing?

I use COAP secure to communicate between Thingsboard and my devices, and I use an x509 certificate to manage the security aspect.
The use of telemetry and attributes resources works correctly, as described in the documentation.
Unfortunately, when I follow the documentation for the Firmware section, I encounter issues :

• The suggested request is not correct :
  • In the doc : $THINGSBOARD_HOST_NAME/api/v1/firmware?title=$TITLE&version=$VERSION
  • In the Thingsboard code and in the OTA coap exemple : $THINGSBOARD_HOST_NAME/fw?title=$TITLE&version=$VERSION

I assume that it is the last one that is correct.

• The use of an x509 certificate is not supported with the “Firmware” coap resource.
  • The code and my results (coap server response = UNAUTHORIZED) show that Thingboard looks directly for the presence of an AccessToken into the URI, which I don't have when using certificate.

What is my question

Is the use of an x509 certificate with the “fw” coap resource planned for a future version of ThingsBoard?
