Right now, on ARM-based Macs, the CLI release runs only via Rosetta 2 emulation, which macOS supports. However, there’s still some performance overhead that could be avoided if it natively supported the ARM architecture. Additionally, on Ubuntu ARM, it doesn’t run unless built from source.
