Window does not fully maximize, leaves gap between window and edge of screen #7633

Using a supported version?
- I have searched open and closed issues for duplicates.
- I am using Signal-Desktop as provided by the Signal team, not a 3rd-party package.
Overall summary
With the window maximized, there's still a substantial gap between the window border and the edge of the screen.
I'm guessing this is related to the window having a shadow, because it looks like the gap is where the shadow is being rendered.
Steps to reproduce
Open Signal Desktop. Maximize it.
Expected result
No gap between window border and edge of screen.
Actual result
