Using a supported version?

• I have searched open and closed issues for duplicates.
• I am using Signal-Desktop as provided by the Signal team, not a 3rd-party package.

Overall summary

For a long time, I found UI rendering slow. Typing is slow too. Doesn't see this using Mattermost, Discord and other apps even Electron ones in the same rdp session.

I have 10ms ping with the remote host but seen delay can be 1 second. CPU usage is low, no other consuming process.
Windows 11

Using 7.83.0-beta.1 for a while but same on stable version.

Steps to reproduce

1. Connect to your session using RDP
2. Type a message in a conversation or switch from one to other conversation
3. Observe the delay

Expected result

No delay as for other apps

Actual result

Nearly 1 second delay while switching conversation, 500ms~1s while typing.
