Current Behavior

Hello,

Nuclei is crashing with fatal error: fault on Windows Server 2025 with "random" goroutine errors. The issue persists for the newest nuclei version (build from master branch), as well as for nuclei 3.4.10 and 3.4.9.

Expected Behavior

Successful scan.

This is a very weird crash, thanks for reporting it @satk0 !

I'm trying to reproduce it on a windows box but unable to get the crash. Would it be possible to provide more info on the target system (another windows box? Linux?).
Do you get the crash even removing the exclude templates and etags CLI options?

I will ask about it, as well as trying to remove those flags on Monday and will let you know.

BTW, Do you think that this crash could also be caused by some templates? And excluding them would help to resolve it?

Adding sysvar:
