Description
IINA Version
1.4.0-beta2 Build 154
Release Channel
Nightly
macOS Version
15.5 (24F74)
Steps to Reproduce
- Open a file in a directory with multiple videos. In my case, it's a series of short educative videos in low resolution, old rips of mine.
- Automatically, IINA will add the other files to the playlist (which is a fantastic idea!).
- I resize the window to take the right part of my desktop. The quality is not good enough for fullscreen anyway, and I use the left part to take notes.
- All works great, but when the video finishes, the next one gets opened, but unlike specified in the option below, IINA resizes the window automatically to the initial size. I have to resize it to the previous size manually.
- Even for longer episodes of TV shows (ex. 20 minutes), which all have the same resolution, I don't see when it would make sense to resize the video. If the resolution was different maybe, but then I'd say it's the user's responsibility, and they could set the below option to "Always" for their use case.
Expected Behavior
- When "Resize the window to fit video size:" is set to "When media is opened manually", I would expect the window to not be resized automatically when one item from the playlist is finished and IINA starts playing the next.
Actual Behavior
- The window gets resized when switching to the next playlist item. Or when using "next/previous media" hotkeys.
