I've been using Spec-Kit for a few months now and it has been extremely helpful. I've finally ironed out a workflow that works beautifully where I understand all the nuances and can guide the process very well.

All of a sudden the LLM seems lost. When trying to create a new feature spec, the LLM is looking up old feature specs to understand the file structure, it's NOT creating new feature branches in git, and attempts to one-shot the entire process from /specify to /tasks. The process usually starts with output like this:

Read speckit.specify.prompt.md
The prompt file is minimal. Let me look at the existing spec structure to understand how to create a new feature specification. I'll examine the specs folder and look at an existing spec to use as a template.

I've tried reinstalling Spec-Kit but that doesn't seem to do anything. I don't see any changes to the files in .github (except for copilot-instructions.md) or .specify in version control. The only change I made today was to upgrade from Github Copilot Pro to Pro+.

What is happening? More importanly, how can I get Copilot and/or Spec-Kit to function properly again?
