Fork, Commit, Merge - Easy Issue (TypeScript/Vitest)
Make Simple Vitest Test Pass
Note: You don't have ask permission to start solving the issue or get assigned, since these issues are supposed to be always open for new contributors. The actions-user bot will reset the file back to previous state for the next contributor after your commit is merged. So you can just simply start working with the issue right away!
How to get started
Navigate to the directory used in this project with the command:
cd tasks/typescript/vitest/easyInstall all the necessary dependencies and Vitest:
npm iOpen the src/sum.test.ts file and start implementing your solution!
Description
The goal of this task is to make the Vitest test in src/sum.test.ts file pass.
- Add
describe,itandexpectstatements so the test will pass if it return0with no numbers. - Do not modify the
sum.tsfile.
How to run
Make sure you are in the correct directory:
cd tasks/typescript/vitest/easyRun the test with the command:
npm testExpected output
After running the test, you should see output similar to this:
✓ src/sum.test.ts (1)
✓ #sum (1)
✓ returns 0 with no numbers
Test Files 1 passed (1)
Tests 1 passed (1)

To work with this issue, you need to have npm and NodeJS installed to your local machine.
