Description
Fork, Commit, Merge - Easy Issue (Kubernetes/YAML)
Create a YAML Config File for a Simple Kubernetes Deployment
Note: You don't have ask permission to start solving the issue or get assigned, since these issues are supposed to be always open for new contributors. The actions-user bot will reset the file back to previous state for the next contributor after your commit is merged. So you can just simply start working with the issue right away!
How to get started
Open the tasks/kubernetes/easy directory from the root of your project.
Then open up the nginx-deployment.yaml file and once it is properly created according to the YAML syntax and the task in hand, you are done and ready to make a pull request!
Note: You can test your YAML code in a editor like this.
Description:
Create a YAML configuration file for a Kubernetes Deployment that meets the following criteria:
- Deploys 3 replicas of the nginx container.
- Sets the label app to web.
- Maps port 80 in the container to port 8080 on the host.
You do not need to apply this configuration on a Kubernetes cluster. The goal is to write a correct YAML file that could be used to perform the deployment.
Check out README.md for more instructions and how to make a pull request.
