Description
Workarounds:
- Use installation package from https://github.com/dprojects/Woodworking-package/releases and later update Woodworking workbench only via debugInfo tool - this way is recommended for fresh FreeCAD install and new users.
- Copy manually to Mod folder - in this case you can download the zip repository and unpack to Mod folder or clone repository directly to Mod folder
- Try update Add-on Manager and "refresh local cache"
- Check your network settings because if you have problem to download 200 MB this might be huge problem in general with your network configuration...
Problem description:
I tried installing some other versions of FreeCAD to resolve difficulties I was having with Assembly. Now I don't seem to be able to install Woodworking :-(. I'm really getting frustrated with Snap packages.

Although I admit I'm not 100% sure this is a Snap issue. I'm now using Freecad 1.0.2. Should your code work with this version of FreeCAD?

Hi Tim @tim-rohrer
Currently Woodworking workbench is working with:
- FreeCAD 0.21.2
- FreeCAD 1.0
- FreeCAD 1.0.1
- FreeCAD 1.0.2
- FreeCAD 1.1dev 2025.08.20
If you have already installed Woodworking workbench you can update it via debugInfo. Add-on Manager has also cache problem so you may not see new versions there, in fact you have to update cache and probably update the Add-on Manager manually to get it to work. So it is much better to update Woodworking workbench via debugInfo.
I am not sure, maybe this should be open all the time because it is known Add-on Manager bug. I don't want to comment this again and the FreeCAD politics... I don't care in fact what they do, I have my own working environment for Woodworking. You can read more about it:
