Release 0.8.0 #395

@davidhalter

Description

@davidhalter

I'm close to releasing Jedi 0.8.0. It seems to be running relatively smoth. I'm currently doing a lot of sith.py runs to find bugs, but generally we're almost ready.

The issue/bug list is down to four, which is ok, I guess.

We still have to:

  • Discuss Adding Script.documentation. #392, because it's a major API change.
  • Turn Usages into Definitions (my job).
  • We should define a deprecation process.
  • Hopefully get rid of a nasty issue with long running times/high memory allocations.
  • Maybe solve the CallSignature.index issue.

Please try to update your Jedi version to the latest dev branch and tell me if there are any backwards incompatible changes or if there's s till bugs running around.
