In general, we don't have bandwidth to support BSDs. That said, we aren't opposed to merging patches to make them work, as long as the patches are not overly intrusive. Long, long ago, in #83, I got FreeBSD working, but only with some unacceptably awful build-time hacks, so it never landed. It may be those hacks are no longer needed if Bazel and/or Cargo have improved, but I haven't had a chance to try it again. But aside from the build hacks, you can see that getting FreeBSD working was not too hard. Hopefully OpenBSD would be similar. If so, I'm happy to accept a patch along those lines. |

workerd install only supports:
hit this trying to run wrangler on openbsd. is bsd support in scope? unsure how much porting work the runtime would need - mostly asking if the team would consider it vs this being fundamentally linux/darwin-only.
