Since most of your reference documentation is based on javadoc.io I just want to point your attention to the javadoc.io issue maxcellent/javadoc.io#159

It seems that this issue is of minor importance to the javadoc.io team
but maybe it is important for you...

As a work around:
Maybe there is a way to generate your documentation without the search field?
