I'm using both the Xbox Dev and MacOS version. I noticed using the xbox controller that Link is not moving backwards if I press the analog stick exactly back, but he slightly moves to left down, toggling the same known movement of him. Now I tried the same for MacOS using the Nintendo N64 controller from Nintendo Switch Online. Same happens here. Note that the original controller analog stick has an octagonal shape, so you can really put the stick in exact back position. Link also moves noticeably front left when pressing the N64 controller exactly up.

I have several mods installed, but non deal with controller manipulation.
