Should have specific calm music.

Purpose:

  • Allow healing
  • If luck, sacrificing something of value at the safe room altar gives a chance of giving luck back
  • Allow safe space to sacrifice to receive an oracle
  • Place to cache/stash
  • Saving game

Location:

  • spiral stairs down
  • special rooms found rarely, typically near the top of spiral stairs

Require water to rest? Maybe doesn't seem necessary for this non-expedition style play
Require rations to heal on rest?

Gain some feats from books looted and read at saferoom, in which case should probably require rations to heal and water to rest.

Also, clean read book if have and learn hypergeometry rituals while resting.

Rest to upgrade? Multiple upgrades possible per rest to create gameplay where you have to play decide to delay resting, waiting to upgrade to conserve resources or burn resources to access your feat upgrades sooner

Maybe have resting make you choose one way in which the dungeon becomes more difficulty ala Infested Planet.
