I find it might be in fact, a circular reference...
(`man curl` gave exactly the same page; and that would be the MANUAL, supposedly?)

Nope. The MANUAL it referred to is this file, visible on the website as https://curl.se/docs/tutorial.html
But the reference is now gone.

If such a page actually exists, probably it should be added back:
https://curl.se/docs/tutorial.html#post-http
(as plain URL)
