“The worlds of Web3 and Fintech are very similar and as a senior marketer pose certain challenges; managing extreme internal change (strategy, tactics), traversing external regulators & new jurisdictional rules (e.g. FCA, SEC), and managing/mentoring a team in a high-churn category. It's not easy - each day throws at least as many unexpected challenges as planned ones. Jack was a great colleague and supporter in our time working together. He's 'high-touch' enough to feel that you can get support if needed, but 'low touch' enough to respect the skills and abilities his team was hired for. He's able to work in both Web3 and crypto due to this mindset, and would be able to easily work in both unstructured scale ups as well as more centrally planned established businesses. It was a pleasure to work alongside him and happy to have been a part of his team here at Near.”
