Last week, our Head of Digital Technology, Jan Devos, spoke at the IBC - International Broadcasting Convention, about how federations are embracing cloud-native workflows to produce more events, more efficiently, especially across Tier 2 and Tier 3 competitions. Yesterday, our Director of FIFA Projects, Stefan Wistuba, stepped on stage at the SVG Europe Sport Production Summit 2025 to present a case study on the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™. The discussion offered an in-depth look at the broadcast coverage of the tournament, featuring insight from some of the creative, operational and technology protagonists behind the production. He was joined by Oscar Sanchez, Head of Host Broadcast Production at FIFA, and Quim Domènech, Senior Vice President of Content at DAZN Spain. The case study explored how major global tournaments are evolving, combining innovation with efficiency and leveraging new technologies to meet the growing expectations of broadcasters, rights holders and fans around the world. Reflecting on the experience, Stefan shared: “Delivering the Host Broadcast for the FIFA Club World Cup together with FIFA and their exclusive Media Rights Partner, DAZN, could not have been achieved without the outstanding collaboration and commitment from all involved."
