USO Gaming is more than just a console – it is an in-person and virtual community of service members and military families alike, brought together through a shared love of gaming.

At the end of a long, stressful day, playing a video game can provide service members with an outlet to relax, recharge and simply have fun with your fellow service members, or even to connect with loved ones back home while on deployment. For military families, board game nights offer an opportunity to connect with their community and each other. USO Gaming has something for everyone with a variety of both casual and competitive gaming options available. Gaming can provide service members and military families with social and emotional benefits – and some refreshing fun – anywhere from within the walls of a USO Center to on the front lines.

How It Works

  • Active duty, Reserve or National Guard service members and military family members can game and participate in gaming events at most of our 250+ USO Centers around the globe, including USO Gaming Centers and USO airport Centers.
  • Find your local USO Center to learn about upcoming USO Gaming events and tournaments.

What Service Members and Military Families Receive:

  • Access to computer, console, virtual reality and mobile video games, as well as table top games, board games, card games and group party games.
  • Access to top-of-the-line gaming equipment and screens, as well as comfortable seating.
  • Game launch parties and game watch parties at USO Centers and USO Gaming Centers.
  • Participation in gaming tournaments, major competitions, leagues, community events and family nights.
  • For service members stationed in remote locations, far from brick-and-mortar USO Centers, the USO-NFL Gaming Trailer and other Mobile USO vehicles travel to these locations to distribute gaming equipment and provide an immersive gaming experience in the field.
  • A chance to unwind during downtime and build camaraderie among your fellow service members, or to connect virtually with loved ones back home.
