  • NCI is thrilled to mark our calendars for National Postdoc Appreciation Week, September 15-19, 2025! We agree that recognizing the invaluable contributions of postdoctoral scholars is paramount. We're especially keen on this year's theme of science communication and plan to host events that support our postdocs in this critical area. More details to come! #NPAW2025 #ScienceCommunication

Save the date! National Postdoc Appreciation Week is set for September 15-19, 2025! This year's theme is communicating your science and research. Since 2009, the NPA has championed this week to honor the remarkable contributions that postdoctoral scholars make to research and discovery in the United States. Organizations worldwide participate by hosting special events. This initiative, recognized officially by the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010, serves as a powerful reminder of the vital role of postdoctoral researchers in shaping our future. • Fantastic news for researchers! 🎉 The launch of the NanCI web app is a true game-changer. Anyone who's spent endless hours grappling with complex search syntax knows the pain NanCI aims to solve.   The idea of AI truly understanding research interests and proactively curating a daily feed of new publications is incredibly appealing. This truly shifts the focus from "searching" to "researching."   Definitely check out the video in the original post where Duncan Anderson of Barnacle Labs gives a tutorial – it clearly shows how easy NanCI is to use!

🚀 The NanCI web app just launched yesterday! As researchers, we've all been there — spending hours wrestling with complex search syntax just to find relevant papers. NanCI changes that game entirely. Here's what makes it special: - AI that actually understands your research interests (no more search syntax gymnastics) - Automatically discovers and curates new publications for your daily feed - Keeps you current without the constant manual searching The vision is simple: let AI handle the discovery, so you can focus on what matters — the actual research. The fact that NanCI uses AI to learn your interests and proactively finds relevant work means less time searching, more time reading what actually matters to your work. Watch the video to see how I was able to create a folder of research papers and setup NanCI to automatically seek out relevant research for me on a daily basis – all without me having to do a single search! As developers of NanCI, we at Barnacle Labs worked closely with the USA's National Cancer Institute (NCI) and Google Cloud to make this app a reality. If you're interested to know more about our work, I'm just a DM away! https://nanci.cancer.gov/ #AI #Research #CancerResearch
