It has been more than a year due to pandemic impact but this doesn’t stop us from “not moving ahead”. We at BookMyShow really build/enhancement many projects and take the benefits out from such an era. We drastically reduce our software licensing cost (almost 85% - MSSQL) and infra cost. We also move our core system from Windows to Linux-based for better performance and scalability. It’s all about engineering excellence by going and over beyond to make a difference to our customers. It is just the perspective of how we should look at the problem and take advantage of it. We hope many companies are following the same approach to enhance their customer experience and build cost-effective solutions. Urgent: Seeking Resolution and Compensation for Unacceptable Car Rental Experience (Booking ID: JPSNIMOQN) Dear Zoomcar Zoomcar Greg Moran Sudhindra Reddy Geiv Dubash I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the recent car rental experience through your platform, particularly related to Booking ID: JPSNIMOQN. Upon arriving at the agreed-upon pick-up location, I was shocked to discover that the host did not hand over the reserved SUV as per our agreement. Instead, the host insisted on making a direct payment into a private account, a practice that clearly contradicts the secure transaction process established by Zoomcar. This not only raises significant security concerns but also violates the trust I place in your platform for secure and reliable transactions. To compound matters, attempting to address the issue further revealed that changing the car was not a viable option. Moreover, the alternative offered was a sedan in place of the originally booked SUV. This not only undermines the trustworthiness of your service but also fails to meet the expectations set forth in my initial reservation. To my surprise, the booking was marked as completed without the car being handed over, leaving me in an unprecedented and unacceptable situation. I am urgently requesting the following actions: - A thorough investigation into the incident, with a focus on understanding why the host deviated from the standard car handover process. - Immediate steps to enhance the security and integrity of transactions on the Zoomcar platform. - Full compensation for the inconvenience caused, including a double refund of the service fee, acknowledging the breach of security and the deviation from the agreed-upon service. Additionally, I would appreciate guidance on escalating this matter through your official customer support channels. In the absence of a satisfactory resolution, I have also initiated a support ticket (Support Ticket ID: 1530075) for your reference. For your awareness, I have already escalated this matter to consumer protection forums. I expect a swift and comprehensive resolution to this matter. Your immediate attention to this concern is crucial in restoring my trust in the Zoomcar service. Thank you for your prompt action on this matter. BookMyShow creates history by breaking its own records - Celebration time !!! This festival season going awesome for BookMyShow. We are coming out stronger from pandemic waves. With God’s grace, it’s raining tickets here, from the last few months we are selling almost a million tickets every single day. In fact, we crossed a couple of times our own highest-ever daily sales in the history of BMS. Also, we break our own highest ticket sales of the month record last month itself. We are also working hard to keep the system as efficient and robust as possible, as we scale to new heights which makes our work more challenging and rewarding. I understood the importance very early in life as my grandparents would not allow us to waste food. Whatever little was left (untouched) would be fed to animals. During my son's thread ceremony I sent food to a school where 150-200 students (primary section) got their one time morsel which I felt so pleased to do from my heart. Let's take a pledge not to waste food. If you ever feel that the food is excess please get the untouched food packed and give it to a hungry human being or animal. Don't waste food.
