Supplier Quality Engineer Staff - Grand Prairie, TX

You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer Staff for our Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team in Grand Prairie, TX, managing and supporting assigned suppliers for the GMLRS program. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of critical components and systems, implementing rigorous quality standards to guarantee excellence.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Supplier Quality Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for driving supplier quality performance, identifying trends, and ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and program management to resolve quality issues and improve overall quality performance, ultimately contributing to the success of the GMLRS program.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Managing and supporting assigned suppliers to ensure quality performance and implement quality process controls
• Identifying data trends and monitoring supplier processes to drive corrective and preventive actions
• Providing internal and supplier support for root cause and corrective/preventive actions
• Interfacing with suppliers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Product Line Teams (PLTs), production sites, customers, and program management
• Supporting Material Review Boards (MRBs) and Failure Review Boards (FRBs) to disposition non-conforming hardware
• Conducting scheduled product source inspections, first article inspections, and surveillance assessments
• Ensuring supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified
• Driving continuous improvement and mentoring/training Quality individuals supporting the GMLRS program
