This is a #hybrid position, working on-site with Coca-Cola 3 days per week in their Bloomington, MN office.
As Sr. Manager, Business Insights on the Coca-Cola Retail business, you will provide a high level of support for the implementation of Category Management, Analytics, Insights and other related business insights initiatives supporting Target.
You will demonstrate a high-level understanding of the sales trends and drivers that affect Retailers, Brands, and Consumers working with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced, value-added, and insight-driven analytics and recommendations.
You must be confident in independently engaging with retail partners.
Responsibilities:
Analyze complex data and provide thoughtful, proactive guidance and recommendations that address the 4-Ps (product, pricing, promotion, placement).
Build compelling sales presentations using syndicated, shopper, and other sources of data that provide in-depth analysis and solutions that address current business issues.
Leverage Target POS/Vendor IQ, Circana, Nielsen, CKS, Numerator etc. to analyze data to develop insights-based analysis /projects with recommendations focused on strategies and objectives
Participate in the category review or line review processes working with other cross-functional teams to provide complete category management solutions.
Independently develop and maintain reporting that measures performance against strategies and objectives.
Possess an understanding of Space Management software and the ability to occasionally manipulatePOGs.
Work closely and often with Coca-Cola team members and the customer by setting up regular meetings to become a trusted advisor.
Provide follow-up and summarize action items and results as needed.
Qualifications:
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Related work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement
Category Management Certification Preferred
Work Experience Requirements:
5-7 years related work experience, preferably supporting mass or grocery channel. Target experience a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Solid working knowledge of the CPG industry (data sources, tools, concepts, etc.).
Proficient in industry tools utilized in the completion of the work assigned.
An advanced degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI as needed.
Effectively and independently conduct data mining, utilizing CPG math concepts and tools.
Demonstrate advanced skills in plan preparation and delivering effective solutions.
Extrapolate opportunities to drive results based on analysis of a business challenge or opportunity.
Communicate clearly and effectively while understanding and adapting to the audience.
Independently manages and, at times, leads project plans and assumes responsibility for tracking, communication, and timing.
Break down larger problems into smaller components and potential resolutions.
