Social Video Creator: (Hybrid role; must be based in NYC or DC)
We're seeking a passionate Social Video Creator to join our team and help CAVA push further into video across various social media platforms, current and emerging. As CAVA’s first in-house Social Video Creator, you will play a key role in cultivating awareness and love for the CAVA brand, through video. You will be expected to handle a majority of our organic social videos, as well as social first videos for paid media depending on campaign needs across social platforms.
Reporting to the Director of Social, you will play a key role in increasing brand awareness, driving audience growth, and achieving marketing objectives through compelling video storytelling.
What You’ll Do:
Create original content for various platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and more, not limited to solely organic content.
Develop narratives and concepts that resonate and engage with our target audience.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with overall brand strategy and campaigns.
Stay informed about industry trends, and audience habits, and adapt content strategies accordingly
Edit and optimize content for SEO and user engagement.
Work with our Social Strategist to manage and plan content calendars to ensure the timely delivery and posting of videos.
Analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies based on feedback and results.
Deliver social-first videos for paid promotion across different platforms and outlets.
Willingness to be on camera, if concept requires
The Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Video Production and Editing, or a related field.
Proven experience as a video manager or similar role (2-4 years preferred).
Strong writing, editing, producing, and storytelling skills.
Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
Familiarity with SEO best practices.
Creative and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
