Job Description

Koin is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer who combines design craft with an entrepreneurial spirit. An ideal candidate is someone who can deliver exceptional work today, excels at designing intuitive, elegant experiences, and thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to take full ownership of core product experiences while helping lay the foundation for our growing design practice.

This is a great fit for a designer who’s hands-on, data-informed, and interested in solving complex problems in a regulated space to help shape the future of digital payments in gaming.

Compensation

$95,000-$115,000 annually, depending on experience

Location

In-person in Las Vegas, NV, 89103: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for mobile, web, and internal platforms from concept to high-fidelity execution.
• Use research and data to create intuitive, user-centered solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems in Figma.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data to define problems and shape solutions.
• Communicate design decisions clearly and welcome feedback.
• Design within regulatory constraints (AML/KYC, gaming) without compromising UX.
• Support and guide offshore designers to raise design quality across the team.

Skills / Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, and/or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process and measurable impact across mobile and web platforms.
• Proficiency in Figma, with experience building and maintaining scalable design systems.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills, with a systems-thinking approach to flows, states, and components.
• Comfortable with data-informed design, using both qualitative methods (user interviews, usability testing) and quantitative tools (analytics, A/B testing) to guide decisions.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the skills to influence stakeholders and advocate for design.
• A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Bonus Skills / Experience

• Experience designing within the fintech, gaming, payments, and/or other similar regulated industries.
