RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a global quality vision and operating model that ensures consistent product performance and supports business growth.
  • Build and lead a quality organization that includes Manufacturing Quality, Sourcing Quality, Inbound Inspections, and Field Quality.
  • Establish and monitor quality performance metrics and dashboards to drive accountability and visibility across the organization.
  • Set standards and drive execution of inspection protocols, test procedures, and in-process controls for internally manufactured products.
  • Lead global supplier quality programs, including vendor audits, scorecards, corrective action processes, and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Partner closely with Procurement and Sourcing to ensure product quality and reliability from overseas partners, especially in China.
  • Oversee inbound inspection procedures and teams, ensuring that all sourced goods meet internal and customer specifications.
  • Analyze warranty data, customer complaints, and field returns to identify root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Serve as a quality escalation point for major field or customer issues and lead cross-functional resolution efforts.
  • Own company-wide compliance with applicable regulatory standards, including NSF, UL, FDA, and other relevant foodservice product certifications.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with U.S. and international product safety regulations, labeling requirements, and import/export standards.
  • Lead compliance audits and documentation readiness for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively monitor regulatory changes and guide the organization in adapting processes and documentation accordingly.
  • Champion a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.
  • Promote the adoption of Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce the cost of poor quality.
  • Drive training and development for quality and cross-functional teams to reinforce quality ownership and operational discipline.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Compliance, ideally in manufacturing and global sourcing environments.
  • Deep knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), regulatory requirements (e.g., NSF, UL, FDA), and global supplier management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional teams and drive measurable business impact.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
