Position Summary:
The Senior Account Manager, OEM will manage key accounts in the North American market, helping drive revenue and find new business opportunities in golf, construction, and e-mobility sectors. This role is crucial to Delta-Q's growth plans. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing OEM accounts, values long-term partnerships, and thrives in a collaborative, results-driven environment.
Delta-Q's revenue continues to grow year over year as more original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) join the revolution of electrification. The Sales team, with members located in North America, Asia and Europe, support Delta-Q's revenue objectives by connecting and solidifying relationships with some of the world's largest and most influential Fortune 500 OEMs as they embark on their journeys to electrification.
Specific Duties:
Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities within assigned accounts
Maximize wallet share and revenue from existing customers through proactive support
Host quarterly business reviews with key stakeholders
Build and maintain strong relationships across customer departments such as sales, product management, engineering, and procurement, to support long-term partnerships and growth
Promote advanced charging solutions to increase account value year over year
Support the development and execution of sales and marketing plans for new and existing accounts
Communicate clearly and promptly with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences
Collaborate with Operations and Sales Operations to address delivery inquiries, rescheduling, and other customer service issues
Respond to customer requests for quotes on new products, existing products, and modifications
Work closely with Application Engineering to provide technical support and secure design wins; gather feature requests and translate them into product requirements
Maintain accurate 12-month rolling forecasts based on customer demand and schedules
Achieve quarterly unit volume and revenue targets
Acquire and apply market and product knowledge to support customer inquiries effectively
Respond promptly to customer and prospect inquiries
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Relevant education and experience in senior technical sales and account management
Proven success in sales and account management within industries such as manufacturing, automotive, e-mobility, battery technologies, construction equipment, or golf
Strong track record of building relationships with high-volume OEM customers
Deep understanding of complex, consultative sales processes
